To test tank and/or fuel supply for contamination.  All stored fuel can become contaminated with Algae and Fungal matter.  These microbes create acids that eat away at delicate injector pump parts.  They also create bio-mass that can be pulled through fuel lines to clog filters stopping an engine at the most inappropriate time.  This analysis indicates if there is a problem with the tank and/or fuel supply.
